From India to the UK, a 1 kg parcel starts at ₹2,000 (about GBP 15.7), and the rate per kilo falls as the box fills: about ₹1,260 (about GBP 9.9) per kg for a 5 kg box and ₹820 (about GBP 6.4) per kg for 20 kg, on Economy, with GST and payment charges included. We charge in rupees; the GBP figures are approximate, at this week's exchange rate. Forwarding one box to the UK runs about ₹4,000–5,000 for 1 kg and ₹10,000–12,500 for 5 kg by direct courier, or ₹1,500–2,500 and ₹5,500–7,000 where we run an Economy lane. Ranges worked out 2026-10-31, not quotes, and duty at your end is separate. What you pay depends on the finished weight and size after we repack your parcels into one; the table on this page shows indicative totals by parcel weight for Premium and Economy, with our handling, GST and payment charges included. Yes. Order from Indian shops to your India Rabbit address, or have family in India send things there by any domestic courier. We receive and photograph every parcel, combine everything into one box and ship it to the UK with tracking, typically 4 to 10 business days after dispatch.

Order everything to your Indian address first and have it forwarded as one box. International shipping is charged per shipment on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so five parcels sent separately cost far more than the same goods repacked together. Where we run an Economy lane to the UK, it is cheaper again than direct courier in exchange for a few more days in transit.

Typically 4 to 10 business days from the day your consolidated shipment leaves our warehouse, plus customs clearance at your end. Time in storage before you request shipping does not count towards that.

International shipping is priced on weight and size, so five separate parcels cost far more than one. We repack everything into a single box and strip unnecessary packaging to cut volumetric weight. The saving scales with how bulky the original packaging was — up to 80% on bulky retail boxes, considerably less on small dense items.

Up to £135, UK VAT (20%) is normally charged by the seller at checkout; above £135, import VAT and any duty are collected before delivery. Gifts between individuals are free of VAT up to £39. Since 15 July 2026 the UK–India trade agreement has cut or removed duty on many goods made in India, such as clothing and footwear, where the origin rules are met. The recipient may need to pay VAT/duty before delivery. Duty is charged by the customs authority in the UK, not by India Rabbit.

30 days free from the day each parcel arrives, which is enough to finish a sale-season order and send it all together. Storage can be extended for a fee if you need longer.
