About India Rabbit

India Rabbit — written IndiaRabbit by most people who use it, and found at indiarabbit.com — is the package forwarding service of The Courier Point, a courier and cargo business in Kerala. We give people living outside India a real Indian delivery address, receive what they order to it, and send it on.

Who is actually behind this

The person who runs this has been in the courier business for ten years. India Rabbit works from one place: The Courier Point’s warehouse in Kerala. For a decade the courier work has meant the same thing every working day: somebody walks in with a box, and it has to get where it is going.

India Rabbit came out of the part of that job nobody plans for. A great deal of what we send out of Kerala is not commerce, it is people abroad trying not to miss home — a mother posting the pickle her son cannot buy in Dubai, a family sending the kasavu for a wedding in New Jersey, someone who just wants the book that was never printed in English. Over the years the same question kept coming back the other way: I live in Dallas, the Indian shop will not deliver to me, can you receive it and send it on? We did it, one parcel at a time, as a favour. India Rabbit is that favour built properly.

The Courier Point has been booking and moving parcels out of Kerala for years, for walk-in customers and for families sending things to relatives abroad. India Rabbit is that same business under a name that says what this particular service does; it was rebranded and relaunched on 1 September 2026. The company, the premises, the staff and the carrier relationships are the ones that were already there. You can see the parent business at thecourierpoint.com.

That matters more than it sounds. Package forwarding is a category with a lot of thin operators — a website, a rented mailbox and somebody else's warehouse. If you are weighing us up, the useful question is not how the site looks; it is whether there is a building, and whether the people who open your parcel work for the company you paid.

Where we are, and what that means

One warehouse, in Kerala, at the address at the bottom of this page. Real premises, not a PO box and not a desk inside somebody else's depot. Our own staff receive, open, check, photograph and pack every parcel. Nothing about the handling is subcontracted.

The practical consequence is what you can do about a problem. Because we open and photograph everything on arrival, you see the wrong size, the wrong colour, the missing item or the restricted product while it is still in India — when a return to the seller is a domestic courier job rather than an international one that costs more than the item. A forwarder that only weighs a sealed box cannot offer you that, however good its website is.

We also collect from anywhere in Kerala. A shop in Thrissur, a tailor in Kozhikode, a handloom society in Balaramapuram or a relative in Kannur can all get something to us — see pickup from Kerala.

What we actually do, step by step

You sign up free and get an Indian address with your own suite code. You use it at checkout on any Indian site, exactly as a customer in India would. We receive each parcel, open it, check the contents, photograph them into your account and hold it free for 30 days — extendable to 90 days if you are still shopping. When you say go, we strip the retail packaging, repack everything into the smallest safe box, weigh it, quote you both service levels, prepare the export paperwork and hand it to a carrier with tracking to your door. We currently forward to 48 destinations, and we keep buying guides for 42 of the things people most often ask us to send.

What we do not do

We do not buy things on your behalf, and we do not take payment for your shopping — you order and pay the Indian shop directly, which keeps your consumer rights with the seller where they belong. We do not charge a membership or a subscription; the address, the storage and the repacking cost nothing, and the only invoice you ever get is for an international shipment you asked us to send. We do not quote a price we cannot hold: the calculator prices the box we actually packed.

Perfume, aerosols, anything with a battery and a long list of things that vary by country are refused by carriers or by your own customs authority, not by us — the prohibited items pages set out what applies where, per destination.

The paperwork side

Indian customs requires KYC — a government photo ID — from the exporter of record before any international shipment leaves. That is a legal requirement rather than a company policy, it is a one-time step, and it is why we ask. Import duty and taxes at the other end are set by your own country's customs authority and paid by you as the recipient; they are not our charge and we do not take a margin on them.

Is India Rabbit legit? What customers say

The fairest test is what people who have used us say, in reviews we do not control. A few, word for word, from our Google reviews:

  • “Got some skincare products and books shipped from India to Germany through India Rabbit. Everything arrived safely and in good condition.” Ron V., Germany
  • “Sent homemade food to the UAE through India Rabbit, package reached safely without any delay.” Merin A., UAE
  • “Got some homemade snacks and pickles sent from India to Canada through India Rabbit. Everything arrived safely and the packing was good, especially the pickles.” Vipin K., Canada
  • “Wanted to get some outfits from India for Diwali here in Qatar… Got everything delivered here in time for the celebrations.” Renji A., Qatar
  • “Got my parcel delivered from India to Ireland without any issues. The team was responsive and the process was smooth.” Reynold S., Ireland

Read every review, good or bad, on Google and Trustpilot. Beyond reviews, the checkable facts are the ones on this page: a courier business that existed before the brand, our own warehouse and staff in Kerala, a photo of every parcel the day it arrives, and an invoice only for a shipment you asked us to send.
