What is parcel consolidation?

Consolidation means we hold your incoming parcels at your Indian address, then repack them together into a single, efficient box when you're ready to ship. One international shipment instead of five means one base rate and far less volumetric (dimensional) weight.

How much can you save?

International courier is priced on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so bulky retail boxes cost a lot. Removing that packaging and combining orders is where the saving comes from, and it scales with how much air you were paying to ship: five bulky boxes consolidated into one can come down by up to 80%, while five small dense items save a good deal less. The calculator is the only way to know for your own parcels.

A worked example

Volumetric weight is length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5,000. Say you order five kurtas from five different shops, and each arrives in a 30 × 25 × 10 cm box.

• Sent one by one: each box counts as 1.5 kg (30 × 25 × 10 ÷ 5,000), so you pay for five separate shipments of 1.5 kg each. Every one of them pays the first-kilo rate, which is the dearest part of any rate card.
• Consolidated: we take the clothes out of the retail boxes, fold them and pack them into one 40 × 30 × 20 cm carton. That counts as 4.8 kg, charged once.

The exact saving depends on your country and the real weights, so put your own numbers into the calculator. The pattern holds everywhere: light, bulky things such as clothes, toys and shoes save the most, and dense things such as books save the least.

Free storage while you shop

Every parcel is stored free for 30 days, counted from the day it arrives, so you can keep shopping across stores and days, then consolidate everything into one shipment at the end. Need more time for a tailor or a late delivery? Extend by 30 days per parcel for ₹200, up to two times.

Timing a consolidated box

The cheapest boxes are the ones that wait for the last order. Indian festival sales run in October and before Onam, so many people order across a sale and ship once. If the box is for a date, such as a wedding, Onam or Christmas, work back from it: allow for the stores' own delivery time inside India, then the international transit shown on your destination page.
