Shop Indian stores from Nepal, delivered to your door
Nepal shares an open border and a great deal of commerce with India, and long-established Marwari and other Indian trading families run much of its business. Even so, plenty of what Indian online stores sell never reaches Kathmandu’s shelves, and many Indian sites deliver only within India.
Yes — you can shop Indian websites from Nepal even when they will not deliver there. India Rabbit is a package forwarding company that gives you a free Indian delivery address in Kerala. Order to it from Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra or any Indian shop, and we receive each parcel, hold it free for 30 days, combine everything into one box and forward it to Nepal — typically 4 to 6 business days from dispatch. You pay for the international shipment only. From India to Nepal, a 1 kg parcel starts at ₹3,800 (about NPR 6,080), and the rate per kilo falls as the box fills: about ₹1,860 (about NPR 2,976) per kg for a 5 kg box and ₹1,820 (about NPR 2,912) per kg for 20 kg, on Premium, with GST and payment charges included. We charge in rupees; the NPR figures are approximate, at this week's exchange rate. Forwarding one box to Nepal runs about ₹3,000–4,500 for 1 kg and ₹8,500–10,500 for 5 kg by direct courier. Ranges worked out 2026-10-31, not quotes, and duty at your end is separate.

These are ranges, not quotes. What you actually pay depends on the finished weight and size of your box after we repack it, which is usually less than the sum of the parcels that arrived. Worked out 2026-10-31.
Why one box beats five parcels
International shipping is charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, and every parcel carries that cost separately. Five 1 kg parcels to Nepal are priced as five shipments; repacked into one 4 kg box — packaging stripped, which is where the fifth kilo goes — they are priced as one. That is the difference between the 1 kg row above multiplied by five and the 5 kg row on its own.
Premium or Economy to Nepal?
Premium is a direct courier with end-to-end tracking and priority customs handling. Economy is consolidated and takes a few days longer for a lower price. Typical transit to Nepal is 4 to 6 business days from dispatch; Economy sits at the longer end of that. Both are tracked. More on choosing Premium or Economy and on how long shipping from India takes.
Shop from India to Nepal — what people actually buy
Nepal runs 230V on the same round-pin sockets as India, so Indian appliances usually work as they are. Because duty applies from a low value, the saving to aim for is on shipping: put several purchases into one box rather than sending them one by one.

- Electronics accessories
- Pooja items
Nepal charges customs duty and 13% VAT on courier parcels with no published duty-free allowance. Beef products are prohibited and mobile phones must be registered by IMEI.

Selling from India rather than buying? Shipping orders to Nepal for Indian sellers covers this lane from the other side — transit, what Nepal will not admit, and how duty falls.

Shipping from India to Nepal — questions
Is there a package forwarding company that gives me an Indian address and ships to Nepal?
Yes. India Rabbit is a package forwarding company that gives you a free Indian address at its warehouse in Kerala, with your own suite code. You shop Indian websites to it, and it combines your parcels into one box and ships them to Nepal, typically 4 to 6 business days after dispatch.
Can I get Indian products delivered to Nepal when the shop only ships within India?
Yes. Order to your India Rabbit address as an ordinary customer in India. We receive the parcel at our warehouse in Kerala, hold it free for 30 days while your other orders arrive, and forward everything to Nepal in one box.
How do I shop from India and ship to Nepal?
Sign up free and you get an Indian delivery address in Kerala with your own suite code. Use it as the shipping address at checkout on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Ajio and most other Indian stores. When your parcels reach us we let you know, and you choose when to have them forwarded to Nepal.
How much does it cost to send a parcel from India to Nepal per kg?
What you pay depends on the finished weight and size after we repack your parcels into one; the table on this page shows indicative totals by parcel weight for Premium and Economy, with our handling, GST and payment charges included. The calculator gives the exact figure for your box.
Can I send a courier from India to Nepal with India Rabbit?
Yes. Order from Indian shops to your India Rabbit address, or have family in India send things there by any domestic courier. We receive and photograph every parcel, combine everything into one box and ship it to Nepal with tracking, typically 4 to 6 business days after dispatch.
What is the cheapest way to ship from India to Nepal?
Order everything to your Indian address first and have it forwarded as one box. International shipping is charged per shipment on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so five parcels sent separately cost far more than the same goods repacked together. Where we run an Economy lane to Nepal, it is cheaper again than direct courier in exchange for a few more days in transit.
How long does delivery to Nepal take?
Typically 4 to 6 business days from the day your consolidated shipment leaves our warehouse, plus customs clearance at your end. Time in storage before you request shipping does not count towards that.
How much can I save by combining parcels?
International shipping is priced on weight and size, so five separate parcels cost far more than one. We repack everything into a single box and strip unnecessary packaging to cut volumetric weight. The saving scales with how bulky the original packaging was — up to 80% on bulky retail boxes, considerably less on small dense items.
Will I pay customs duty in Nepal?
Customs duty by tariff line plus 13% VAT on value and duty; goods of South Asian origin may attract lower duty. No duty-free allowance is published for courier parcels. The recipient pays before release. Duty is charged by the customs authority in Nepal, not by India Rabbit.
What can I not forward to Nepal?
Prohibited for Nepal: Beef and beef products; Narcotics; Liquor above 60% alcohol; Arms, explosives, walkie-talkies and similar radios without a licence; Precious metals and jewellery beyond baggage rules; Cash, currency, cheques, bullion, and loose precious stones. Check before you order.
How long will you hold my parcels?
30 days free from the day each parcel arrives, which is enough to finish a sale-season order and send it all together. Storage can be extended for a fee if you need longer.
Do I need an Indian card or phone number?
For most stores your own card works fine. Where a store insists on an Indian payment method, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you what is possible.
