What we cannot ship from Flipkart
Flipkart is best known for phones and electronics, so this matters: we cannot ship mobile phones, laptops, loose batteries or anything powered by a battery, perfume, aerosols or nail polish, whatever the destination. Clothes, books, kitchenware, home goods, toys without batteries, sealed packaged food and most beauty products are fine.
Flipkart for Nepal
"Does Flipkart deliver in Nepal" and "is Flipkart available in Nepal" are questions people in Nepal ask often. Nepal runs 230V on the same round-pin sockets as India, so Indian appliances usually work as they are, but phones must be registered by IMEI in Nepal, and we do not ship phones anyway. Clothes, books, kitchenware and home goods are the sensible order. Beef products are prohibited.
Duty and tax
Nepal charges customs duty by tariff line plus 13% VAT on courier parcels, with no published duty-free allowance; goods of South Asian origin may attract lower duty. The recipient pays before release.
If your foreign card is declined at checkout, read how to pay on Indian shopping sites from abroad or message us on WhatsApp before you order.
Costs and transit to Nepal
Typical transit is 4 to 6 business days from the day your consolidated box leaves our Kerala warehouse, plus clearance at your end. Parcels are held free for 30 days each while you finish ordering.
