How package forwarding from India works
India Rabbit is a receiving address plus a shipping desk. You do the shopping; we do the receiving, the repacking and the paperwork.
Package forwarding from India means you get a delivery address in India, shop Indian websites as a domestic customer, and have the parcels sent on to you abroad. With India Rabbit the address is free: it is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code. We photograph every parcel that arrives, hold it free for 30 days, combine everything into one box and ship it to you. You pay only for that shipment.
1 · Get your address
Sign up with your email or Google account. Your Indian address and suite code appear on your dashboard immediately — no fee, no card, no waiting for approval.
2 · Shop as a local
Paste the address into any Indian checkout. Pay the store online, by card or UPI, as a domestic buyer would. Cash-on-delivery orders cannot be accepted at our warehouse, so choose a prepaid option at checkout.
3 · We receive it
When a parcel lands we match it to your suite code, weigh it, photograph it and add it to your dashboard. You can tell us in advance what is coming with a pre-alert.
4 · One box, one bill
Pick the parcels you want sent. We remove retail packaging, repack into the smallest safe box, quote the exact cost, and dispatch with door-to-door tracking once you pay.
The address you will use
Every field matters — Indian couriers deliver on the building line and the PIN code, and your suite code is what tells us whose parcel it is.

What it costs
The address, the receiving, the photographs, the repacking and 30 days of storage are free. You pay for one thing: the international shipment you asked for.
Shipping
Priced on chargeable weight — the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L×W×H ÷ 5000) — and your destination. Estimate it here.
Extra storage
Need longer than 30 days? Extend by 30 days per parcel for ₹200, added to your shipping bill. Up to 2 extensions.
Duties at the other end
Import duty and local taxes are set by your country's customs, collected by the carrier on delivery, and are never included in our quote.
Not just online orders
We collect from anywhere in Kerala — a shop, a tailor or a relative can hand a parcel over, or send it to us. How collection works.

Where first orders usually go wrong
- Cash on delivery. We cannot pay a courier at the door for you, so a COD order comes back to the store. Pay online.
- A missing suite code. Without it we cannot tell whose parcel it is. Copy the whole address from your dashboard. How to add it on Flipkart, Myntra and Amazon.in.
- A card that will not go through. Some stores refuse cards issued abroad. What usually works.
- Your own phone number at checkout. Use the warehouse number shown with your address, so the delivery code reaches us.
- Something that cannot fly. Perfume, batteries and gold are the usual ones. Check your country first.
Questions
What is package forwarding from India?
A package forwarder gives you a delivery address in India. You shop Indian websites as if you lived there, the stores deliver to that address, and the forwarder sends the parcels on to you abroad. With India Rabbit the address is our warehouse in Kerala plus your own suite code, and we combine everything you buy into one box before it flies.
Do I need an Indian bank card?
No. You pay each store yourself, online. Some Indian sites accept cards issued abroad and some do not, which is between the store and your bank. Our guide to paying on Indian shopping sites from abroad covers what usually works.
What happens if the delivery needs an OTP?
Use the warehouse phone number shown with your address as the mobile number at checkout. Delivery partners call or send their delivery code to that number, and it reaches us, so we can receive the parcel for you.
How long will you keep my parcels?
Every parcel is stored free for 30 days from the day it arrives. If you need longer, you can extend by 30 days per parcel for ₹200, up to 2 times.
What if something is wrong with an order?
You see our photographs of every parcel before anything is shipped. If the size, colour or item is wrong, raise the return with the store while the parcel is still in India, and tell us before you ask us to ship.
Is there anything you cannot send?
Yes. Perfume, nail polish, aerosols, batteries and anything flammable, phones and laptops, and gold, silver or diamond jewellery cannot go by courier. Your own country also has rules about food and medicines. Check the prohibited items page for your destination before you order.
