Shop Indian stores from Hong Kong, delivered to your door
Hong Kong’s Indian community goes back to the nineteenth century — Sindhi traders and Sikh families, and today many finance and technology professionals — and more than a hundred thousand people of South Asian descent live there. Indian groceries and tailors exist; Indian regional clothing, books and brands mostly do not.

Why one box beats five parcels
International shipping is charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, and every parcel carries that cost separately. Five 1 kg parcels to Hong Kong are priced as five shipments; repacked into one 4 kg box — packaging stripped, which is where the fifth kilo goes — they are priced as one. That is the difference between the 1 kg row above multiplied by five and the 5 kg row on its own.
Premium or Economy to Hong Kong?
Premium is a direct courier with end-to-end tracking and priority customs handling. Economy is consolidated and takes a few days longer for a lower price. Typical transit to Hong Kong is 4 to 6 business days from dispatch; Economy sits at the longer end of that. Both are tracked. More on choosing Premium or Economy and on how long shipping from India takes.

Shipping from India to Hong Kong — questions
Is there a package forwarding company that gives me an Indian address and ships to Hong Kong?
Yes. India Rabbit is a package forwarding company that gives you a free Indian address at its warehouse in Kerala, with your own suite code. You shop Indian websites to it, and it combines your parcels into one box and ships them to Hong Kong, typically 4 to 6 business days after dispatch.
Can I get Indian products delivered to Hong Kong when the shop only ships within India?
Yes. Order to your India Rabbit address as an ordinary customer in India. We receive the parcel at our warehouse in Kerala, hold it free for 30 days while your other orders arrive, and forward everything to Hong Kong in one box.
How do I shop from India and ship to Hong Kong?
Sign up free and you get an Indian delivery address in Kerala with your own suite code. Use it as the shipping address at checkout on Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Ajio and most other Indian stores. When your parcels reach us we let you know, and you choose when to have them forwarded to Hong Kong.
How much does it cost to send a parcel from India to Hong Kong per kg?
From India to Hong Kong, a 1 kg parcel starts at ₹3,750 (about HKD 310), and the rate per kilo falls as the box fills: about ₹1,890 (about HKD 156) per kg for a 5 kg box and ₹1,700 (about HKD 140) per kg for 20 kg, on Premium, with GST and payment charges included. We charge in rupees; the HKD figures are approximate, at this week's exchange rate. Forwarding one box to Hong Kong runs about ₹3,000–4,500 for 1 kg and ₹8,500–10,500 for 5 kg by direct courier. Ranges worked out 2026-10-31, not quotes, and duty at your end is separate. What you pay depends on the finished weight and size after we repack your parcels into one; the table on this page shows indicative totals by parcel weight for Premium and Economy, with our handling, GST and payment charges included. The calculator gives the exact figure for your box.
Can I send a courier from India to Hong Kong with India Rabbit?
Yes. Order from Indian shops to your India Rabbit address, or have family in India send things there by any domestic courier. We receive and photograph every parcel, combine everything into one box and ship it to Hong Kong with tracking, typically 4 to 6 business days after dispatch.
What is the cheapest way to ship from India to Hong Kong?
Order everything to your Indian address first and have it forwarded as one box. International shipping is charged per shipment on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so five parcels sent separately cost far more than the same goods repacked together. Where we run an Economy lane to Hong Kong, it is cheaper again than direct courier in exchange for a few more days in transit.
How long does delivery to Hong Kong take?
Typically 4 to 6 business days from the day your consolidated shipment leaves our warehouse, plus customs clearance at your end. Time in storage before you request shipping does not count towards that.
How much can I save by combining parcels?
International shipping is priced on weight and size, so five separate parcels cost far more than one. We repack everything into a single box and strip unnecessary packaging to cut volumetric weight. The saving scales with how bulky the original packaging was — up to 80% on bulky retail boxes, considerably less on small dense items.
Will I pay customs duty in Hong Kong?
No import tariff, VAT or GST on ordinary goods. Excise applies to liquor above 30% ABV (100% on the first HK$200, 10% on the rest) and tobacco. Hong Kong is a separate customs territory from mainland China. Duty is charged by the customs authority in Hong Kong, not by India Rabbit.
What can I not forward to Hong Kong?
Prohibited for Hong Kong: E-cigarettes, heated tobacco and herbal cigarettes — fine up to HK$50,000 and 6 months' imprisonment; Smokeless tobacco; Mercury-added products; Prohibited weapons; Cash, currency, cheques, bullion, and loose precious stones; Narcotics, illegal drugs, and psychotropic substances. Check before you order.
How long will you hold my parcels?
30 days free from the day each parcel arrives, which is enough to finish a sale-season order and send it all together. Storage can be extended for a fee if you need longer.
Do I need an Indian card or phone number?
For most stores your own card works fine. Where a store insists on an Indian payment method, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you what is possible.
