We charge in rupees; the MVR figures are approximate, at this week's exchange rate. Forwarding one box to the Maldives runs about ₹3,000–4,500 for 1 kg and ₹8,500–10,500 for 5 kg by direct courier. Order everything to your Indian address first and have it forwarded as one box. International shipping is charged per shipment on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so five parcels sent separately cost far more than the same goods repacked together. Where we run an Economy lane to the Maldives, it is cheaper again than direct courier in exchange for a few more days in transit.

Typically 4 to 6 business days from the day your consolidated shipment leaves our warehouse, plus customs clearance at your end. Time in storage before you request shipping does not count towards that.

The saving scales with how bulky the original packaging was — up to 80% on bulky retail boxes, considerably less on small dense items.

Personal-use goods are duty-exempt up to MVR 10,000 FOB per shipment; each tracking number counts separately. Nicotine products, energy drinks and single-use plastics are excluded. Whether GST (8%) is collected at the border on personal parcels is not clearly published — do not assume a tax-free landing above the exemption. Duty is charged by the customs authority in the Maldives, not by India Rabbit.
