Buy from Instagram Sellers in India and Ship Abroad
Instagram is where a lot of the best Indian clothing, jewellery and handmade work is actually sold — and almost none of it ships abroad. This is the way around that.
Can I buy from an Instagram seller in India if I live abroad? Yes, and the seller does not have to do anything differently. Most Instagram sellers are one or two people, for whom domestic courier is a solved problem and exporting is a different business: customs paperwork, an export declaration, a carrier account. It is not worth learning for a handful of overseas orders, so they say India only. That is an absent channel, not an unfavourable policy. Give them your Indian address and the sale is an ordinary domestic one. You agree it by DM or WhatsApp, they post it to your suite code at our warehouse in Kerala, and we photograph it, hold it, and forward it to you.
Why most Instagram sellers have no international checkout
A seller running a page from Kozhikode or Jaipur is one or two people. Domestic courier is a solved problem for them: book, print, hand over. Exporting is a different business — customs paperwork, an export declaration, a carrier account, a claim process when something is lost. It is not worth learning for a handful of overseas orders, so most simply say "India only".
What you do instead
Give them an Indian address. When you place the order — by DM, on WhatsApp, or through whatever payment link they use — the delivery address is your name, your suite code and our warehouse in Kerala. To them it is an ordinary domestic sale. We receive it, photograph it, and hold it until you want it sent.
Small sellers, unbranded parcels
Instagram orders often turn up in a plain polybag with a handwritten name and no invoice. Two things make that painless: add a pre-alert with the seller's handle and what you ordered, and ask the seller to write your suite code on the parcel. Anything unidentified we hold and ask about rather than guess.
Declaring what it is worth
Customs on both ends works from a declared value, and a seller who sends no invoice leaves that to you. Keep the payment screenshot or the DM where the price was agreed, and declare what you actually paid.
Several sellers, one box
Instagram shopping tends to be many small orders rather than one large one, which is the worst possible shape for international shipping and the best possible case for consolidation. Let them accumulate; we combine them into one carton and you pay one rate.
Questions
Can an Instagram seller ship to your warehouse?
Yes. It is a normal domestic delivery for them. Give them your name, suite code and our Kerala address.
The seller will not give me an invoice. Is that a problem?
No, but keep proof of what you paid — a payment screenshot or the message where the price was agreed — because the shipment has to be declared at its real value.
What if the parcel arrives with no name on it?
We hold unidentified parcels and contact you rather than guessing. Adding a pre-alert in your account before it arrives avoids the delay entirely.
Can I return something to an Instagram seller?
That is between you and the seller, and it is much easier while the parcel is still in India. Tell us before you request shipping and we will help where we can.
Can I combine orders from several Instagram sellers?
Yes, and you should — many small parcels combined into one box is where the saving is.
