What Mirraw sells

Mirraw is an online marketplace for Indian ethnic wear. Its menus cover sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, kurtis and fusion wear for women; kurta sets, sherwanis, suits and shirts for men; and ethnic wear for girls and boys. It also sells jewellery, bags and footwear, and has wedding, festive, modest-wear and plus-size sections and a Luxe section of designer collections. Inc42 reported in 2016 that Mirraw started in Mumbai in 2011 as a marketplace whose vendors send orders out themselves.

Ordering from abroad

Mirraw's website also serves shoppers outside India. When we looked from abroad on 31 October 2026, it showed charges in US dollars and listed contact numbers for several countries. What it offers you, including the currency, the services and the delivery terms, can depend on where you browse from and where the order is going.

If Mirraw cannot deliver to your address, or its international shipping costs more than the order, or you want it in one box with your other Indian shopping, order it to an Indian address:

1. Sign up for a free India Rabbit address. It is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code.
2. Add it as the delivery address in your Mirraw account, as any customer in India would.
3. Pay online. Cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse. Our page on paying on Indian shopping sites from abroad sets out the usual options.
4. We receive the parcel, open it and photograph what is inside, then hold it free for 30 days while your other Indian orders arrive.
5. Ask us to ship. We repack everything into one box, free, and send it to your door.

Several sellers, several parcels

Because Mirraw is a marketplace, a basket with pieces from different sellers can reach us as separate parcels on different days. That is not a problem. We log each parcel as it arrives, hold everything free for 30 days, and ship it all together once the last piece is in.

Stitching

Mirraw offers blouse, salwar and lehenga stitching. Its stitching panel, as shown to us from abroad on 31 October 2026, says the service is intended for customers outside India. It also says stitched products are made to your measurements and cannot be returned or refunded. Check at checkout whether stitching is still offered once your Indian address is entered. If you choose it, measure carefully, because a stitched piece cannot go back.

Returns

Mirraw's returns panel gives you 7 days to send an item back. It says Mirraw does not pay for return shipping, and it offers a replacement for damaged items, or otherwise a refund or store credit. Read the current policy before you order.

The parcel reaches us before it reaches you. We photograph it on arrival, so you can check the colour, the work and the condition while there is still time to raise a return inside India. Tell us before you ask us to ship.

Keep the shipping cost down

Lehengas and boxed saree sets can arrive in large rigid cartons, and shipping is charged on whichever is greater, the actual weight or the volumetric weight. Ask us to remove the retail box and the outfit ships on something much closer to its real weight. We keep the tags, the dupatta and any blouse piece with it.

Ordering from the USA, the UK, Canada and the UAE

After the box leaves India, typical transit is 4 to 12 business days to the USA, 4 to 10 to the UK, 4 to 14 to Canada and 4 to 8 to the UAE. Duty is set by your country's customs. In the UK, the UK–India trade agreement has cut or removed duty on many goods made in India, such as clothing, since 15 July 2026, where the origin rules are met. In the USA there is no duty-free allowance for parcels from India. The full notes for each country are on the prohibited items page.

What we can and cannot send on

• Fine: sarees, lehengas, salwar suits, kurtis, sherwanis and kurta sets, kidswear, footwear, bags and fashion jewellery.
• Not by us: perfume and attar, anything with a battery, real gold, silver or diamond jewellery, and incense.

Combine it with other Indian shops

A Mirraw order can travel in the same box as anything from Myntra, Manyavar, Nalli or Pothys or a boutique in Kerala. One box pays one international rate, which is where most of the saving is.
