What Kalki Fashion sells

Kalki's own about page says the label was born in Mumbai in 2007 and grew out of a family textile business. It sells women's sarees, salwar kameez, lehengas, kurtis, blouses, gowns, Indo-western styles and bridal wear; men's kurta sets, sherwanis, jodhpuris, Indo-western outfits, shirts and tuxedos; kidswear; and jewellery, bags and footwear. It lists about 15 stores in 11 Indian cities, including a flagship in Santacruz West and a store at Kala Ghoda in Mumbai.

Kalki is not only sold in India. When we read its about page on 31 October 2026, it said its pieces are also carried by multi-designer stores abroad, including in London, Dubai, the USA and Canada, and its website runs separate versions for some regions outside India. Ordering from the Indian site

Kalki's website may send you to the version for the country you are browsing from. On the Indian site, its shipping page says prices for customers in India include Indian taxes, and delivery inside India is free with no minimum order. If Kalki cannot deliver to your address, or its international shipping costs more than you want to pay, or you want the outfit in one box with the rest of your wedding shopping, order it to an Indian address:

1. Sign up for a free India Rabbit address. It is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code.
2. Add it as the delivery address in your Kalki account, as any customer in India would.
3. Pay online. Its payment policy lists Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, net banking, wallets and UPI through Razorpay, and a wire transfer arranged with a sales representative. Cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse.
4. We receive the parcel, open it and photograph what is inside, then hold it free for 30 days while your other Indian orders arrive.
5. Ask us to ship. We repack everything into one box, free, and send it to your door.

Made to order and sizing

Kalki's shipping page says each product page shows its own estimated delivery time, whether the piece is ready to ship or made to order. It also says that for women, sizes US 0, US 2 and US 14 upwards may be made to order, and for men, size 36 and size 44 upwards. Made-to-order customers get an email update every 3 to 4 days.

For a wedding, add the times together: the making time on the product page, delivery to us inside India, then the international transit, then customs. Order early, and read the size chart in the units it gives rather than guessing from the size you wear at home.

Returns

Kalki's returns page says items can be returned within 5 days of delivery, only if they are damaged, defective or significantly different from the description, with tags intact. It charges INR 199 per product for returns within India, while exchanges within India are free. Accessories, bags, blouses, footwear, sarees with stitched blouses, and customised or personalised pieces cannot be returned. Its FAQ gives a shorter 48-hour window, so read the current policy before you order.

The parcel reaches us before it reaches you. We photograph it on arrival, so you can check the colour, the embroidery and the condition while there is still time to raise a return inside India. With a window this short, tell us straight away if something looks wrong.

Keep the shipping cost down

Bridal lehengas and gowns often come in large boxes, and shipping is charged on whichever is greater, the actual weight or the volumetric weight. Ask us to remove the retail box and the outfit ships on something closer to its real weight. We keep the tags, the dupatta and the blouse with it.

Ordering from the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE

After the box leaves India, typical transit is 4 to 10 business days to the UK, 4 to 12 to the USA, 4 to 14 to Canada and 4 to 8 to the UAE. Duty is set by your country's customs. In the UK, the UK–India trade agreement has cut or removed duty on many goods made in India, such as clothing, since 15 July 2026, where the origin rules are met. What we can and cannot send on

• Fine: lehengas, sarees, gowns, salwar suits, sherwanis and kurta sets, kidswear, footwear, bags and fashion jewellery.
• Not by us: perfume and other fragrances, anything with a battery, and real gold, silver or diamond jewellery.

Combine it with other Indian shops
