What Suta sells

Suta sells sarees, mostly cotton, mulmul and tussar silk, along with blouses, jewellery and accessories. They are light everyday and occasion sarees rather than heavy bridal silk, which makes them easy to ship several at a time.

Ordering from abroad

If Suta cannot deliver to you, or you are buying sarees from several shops and want one box, order to an Indian address:

1. Sign up for a free India Rabbit address. It is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code.
2. Add it as the delivery address in your Suta account, as any customer in India would.
3. Pay online. Suta's FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express cards. Cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse.
4. We receive the parcel, open it and photograph what is inside, then hold it free for 30 days while your other Indian orders arrive.
5. Ask us to ship. We repack everything into one box, free, and send it to your door.

Suta's pages give delivery inside India of roughly 3 to 7 days, depending on the city.

Returns

Its refund and exchange policy allows a return within 10 days of receiving an Indian shipment. That is a good reason to have the saree come to us first: we photograph it on arrival, so you can check the colour and the weave while a domestic return is still possible.

Ordering from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

From Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, the route is the same: order to your India Rabbit address and we fly the box to you. Typical transit is 4 to 8 business days to the UAE and 4 to 6 to Saudi Arabia after the box leaves India. Duty and VAT for each Gulf country are on our shop and ship from India to the Gulf page, and rates on India to the UAE and India to Saudi Arabia.

What it costs to ship

A cotton or mulmul saree is one of the lightest things you can send from India, so the cost per saree falls quickly when several go in one box. Put the weight into the calculator to see the price for your country, and see our notes on buying sarees from India.

What we can and cannot send on

• Fine: kurtas, kurta sets, sarees, lehengas, dupattas, menswear, kidswear, footwear, bags and fashion jewellery.
• Not by us: perfume and other fragrances, anything with a battery, and gold, silver or diamond jewellery.
