What Forest Essentials sells

Forest Essentials sells Ayurvedic skincare, hair care and body care: face washes, cleansers, creams and serums, ubtans, hair oils and shampoos, soaps and body lotions. It is often bought as a gift, and the Indian site carries the full range at Indian prices.

Ordering from abroad

If Forest Essentials cannot deliver what you want to your country, or you would rather have it in one box with the rest of your Indian shopping, order it to an Indian address:

1. Sign up for a free India Rabbit address. It is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code.
2. Add it as the delivery address in your Forest Essentials account, as any customer in India would.
3. Pay online. Its payment policy lists domestic and international Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse.
4. We receive the parcel, open it and photograph what is inside, then hold it free for 30 days while your other Indian orders arrive.
5. Ask us to ship. We repack everything into one box, free, and send it to your door.

Its FAQ says most orders are dispatched within 24 hours.

Damaged or wrong items

Forest Essentials asks for damaged items to be reported within 48 hours and quality complaints within 7 days. We photograph your parcel on arrival, so a leaking bottle or a missing item shows up while there is still time to tell the store.

Ordering from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

From Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, the route is the same: order to your India Rabbit address and we fly the box to you. Typical transit is 4 to 8 business days to the UAE and 4 to 6 to Saudi Arabia after the box leaves India. Duty and VAT for each Gulf country are on our shop and ship from India to the Gulf page, and rates on India to the UAE and India to Saudi Arabia.

What we can and cannot send on

• Fine: face washes, serums, creams, lotions, sunscreen creams and gels, lip balms, shampoos and hair oils.
• Not by us: perfumes, colognes and body mists, room sprays, and incense sticks, which count as something that burns.

Liquid skincare and hair oils are fine. We pack glass bottles with extra protection at no charge.
