Does Forest Essentials ship to the USA?

Check at your own checkout. If Forest Essentials will not deliver to your US address from its Indian website, order to your India Rabbit address and we forward it, together with anything else you have bought in India.

Where the brand sells outside India

Forest Essentials opened its first international store in London's Covent Garden in November 2022, as Glossy reported at the time. In 2021 the brand told CosmeticsDesign-Asia it was looking at the Middle East, South East Asia and the United States "in the next few years". In March 2026 the Estée Lauder Companies announced it would take full ownership of the brand and spoke of expanding internationally, without naming markets. Neither announcement names a US store or US website, so for most American customers the Indian site, at Indian prices, is the practical route.

What to leave out of a US order

Forest Essentials also sells fragrance, and that part of the catalogue cannot fly:

• Perfumes and body mists cannot be forwarded to any country. That includes its herb-infused mosquito-repellent body spray, which the brand describes as a water-based body mist with grain alcohol.
• Room surround sprays cannot be forwarded either.
• Incense counts as something that burns, and is out.
• Spray sunscreens: its Sheer Sunscreen Body Spray asks you to shake well before use. If a spray is pressurised it is an aerosol and cannot travel, so choose a cream or fluid sunscreen, or ask us before you order the spray.

Face washes, creams, serums, ubtans, lip balms, soaps, shampoos and hair oils are fine, and we pack glass with extra protection.

US duty on skincare

There is no duty-free allowance for parcels from India: the USD 800 exemption was suspended on 29 August 2025, and since 24 July 2026 goods made in India also carry an extra 10% on top of the normal rate for each item. Cosmetics have their own US rate. The calculator shows, service by service, whether duty for the USA is already in the price; where it is not, the courier collects it before delivery. We declare every item at the price you paid.

Buying it as a present

Forest Essentials is often bought as a gift. The only small US exemption left is a genuine gift from one person to another worth USD 100 or less; an online order does not count, even one you are giving away. Budget for duty either way, and tell us if you want the invoice left out of the box.

A long route for liquids

The USA is the longest lane we run, typically 4 to 12 business days after the box leaves Kerala, plus customs. Oils and creams travel well when they are sealed. We photograph every parcel on arrival, so a leaking bottle is visible while there is still time to report it to the store, which asks for damage reports within 48 hours.
