Does Jaypore ship to the USA?

Check at your own checkout. If Jaypore will not deliver to your US address, order to your India Rabbit address and we forward it, combined with anything else you have bought in India.

What happened to Jaypore's US website

In February 2024 Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail announced a US launch for Jaypore with the e-commerce company Ingenuity, and the trade press reported a store at jaypore.us, with products made in India and shipped from India. On 31 October 2026 jaypore.us redirected to the Indian site, jaypore.com. So the Indian site is the one to shop, and an Indian address lets you order from it as a domestic customer.

Materials the USA does not let in

With craft, the material matters more than the shipping. The US prohibited list includes ivory and tortoise-shell products, and most plant material is restricted by the USDA. Read the material line on inlaid boxes, carved pieces, combs and traditional jewellery: anything described as ivory or tortoiseshell cannot go to the USA. Decor made from dried seeds, pods or plant fibre may be refused, so ask us before you order it. Wood should be declared accurately. Textiles, brass, ceramics and stone have none of these problems.

Lamps and anything wired

India runs on 230V and the USA on 120V. A wired Jaypore lamp will not run on a US outlet with a plug adapter alone; it needs rewiring or a step-up transformer. The shade, the base and the brass work are what you are buying, and a local electrician can rewire the fitting.

Jewellery

Jaypore sells jewellery alongside its textiles and homeware. We cannot forward real gold, silver or diamond jewellery to any country, so check the metal line on each listing. Brass, copper, beaded, textile and other fashion jewellery is fine.

US duty on craft

There is no duty-free allowance for parcels from India: the USD 800 exemption was suspended on 29 August 2025, and since 24 July 2026 goods made in India also carry an extra 10% on top of the normal rate for each item. Textiles, brass and ceramics each have their own US rate. The calculator shows, service by service, whether duty for the USA is already in the price; where it is not, the courier collects it before delivery. We declare each piece at the price you paid.

Buying one-offs from America

Handloom and craft pieces are rarely restocked, so buy when you see something and let it wait with us: 30 days of free storage turns several separate finds into one shipment.
