Libas USA: order Libas kurtas from India and get them delivered in the USA

Does Libas ship to the USA?

Check at your own checkout. If Libas will not deliver to your US address, order on libas.in to your India Rabbit address and we forward it, combined with anything else you have bought in India.

Paying from America

Libas's FAQ says it does not currently accept international cards, and a card issued by a US bank is an international card at an Indian checkout. What works is what an Indian customer uses: UPI linked to an NRE or NRO account, or a card issued in India. If you have neither, our page on paying on Indian shopping sites from abroad sets out the options before you fill a basket.

Reading the Libas size chart in the USA

Libas publishes its size chart in inches, so an American tape measure works without conversion, and its measuring guide asks you to measure your body rather than a garment. For kurtas and kurtis the chart runs from XS, at a 34-inch bust, 30-inch waist and 36-inch hip, to XXL at 44, 40 and 46 inches, with a shoulder width for each size. Match those figures, not the letter you wear from an American store, because the same letter does not mean the same body.

Libas's own advice is worth following: go a size up for heavily embroidered pieces and tailor down if needed, and allow more room in cotton, linen, silk and velvet than in stretch fabrics.

Plus sizes and lehenga length

Libas's plus-size kurtas run from 3XL to 6XL on its collection page. Its lehenga chart, from S to XL, lists one skirt length for every size, 42 inches. If you are tall or will wear heels, check that against your own waist-to-floor measurement before you order, because a skirt cannot be lengthened once it has flown.

US duty on a Libas order

There is no duty-free allowance for parcels from India: the USD 800 exemption was suspended on 29 August 2025, and since 24 July 2026 goods made in India also carry an extra 10% on top of the normal rate for each item. Even one inexpensive kurta pays, so order across a few weeks, let the parcels collect with us free for 30 days, and ship once. The calculator shows, service by service, whether duty for the USA is already in the price; where it is not, the courier collects it before delivery.

Returns, and the parcel check

Libas allows returns within 7 days of receiving the order, and the order is received at our warehouse, not at your home. We photograph each parcel on arrival, so look at the photographs promptly and tell us if anything is going back.

Timing

Libas's shipping pages give 2 to 7 working days inside India; add typically 4 to 12 business days from Kerala to the USA plus customs. See the Libas guide, our kurta notes and the rates on India to the USA.
