What DC Books publishes

DC Books was founded in 1974 by Dominic Chacko Kizhakemuri and is headquartered in Kottayam. It says it is among the top ten publishing houses and book retailers in India, publishing more than 1,500 titles a year, and runs bookshops across every district of Kerala. Its catalogue covers novels, literary fiction, short stories, poetry, plays, essays, memoirs, biographies, children's books, crime, history, self-help, spirituality, travel, reference and textbooks, in Malayalam and English, with a section of books in translation.

Its imprints include Mambazham for Malayalam children's literature, DC Life for health and wellness, Sadhana for spirituality, I Rank for exam preparation and DC Reference.

4. Ask us to ship, and the books travel in one box.

Shipping books

Books are dense, so they are priced on their real weight rather than their size; a stack of paperbacks takes little space. Taking them out of bulky outer cartons and packing them flat keeps the box small. For a large order, it is usually cheaper to send one heavier box than several light ones. Check the calculator for your country.
