What Tata CLiQ is

Tata CLiQ is a marketplace: brands and sellers list on it, which is why its own FAQ explains that the same product can show different prices from different sellers. It sells fashion, footwear, accessories, jewellery, watches, beauty and electronics, and runs Tata CLiQ Luxury alongside it for premium labels.

Ordering from abroad

Tata CLiQ's shopping FAQ says orders can be placed from anywhere in the world as long as the shipping address is in India, and that your billing and shipping addresses can be different. That is exactly the gap a free Indian address fills.

1. Sign up for a free India Rabbit address. It is our warehouse in Kerala with your own suite code.
2. Add it as a delivery address in your Tata CLiQ account and enter its PIN code when you check a product. Tata CLiQ shows the delivery options for that PIN code.
3. Pay online. Its payments FAQ describes paying by card and by UPI; cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse.
4. We receive the parcel, open it and photograph what is inside, then hold it free for 30 days while anything else you order arrives.
5. Ask us to ship, and everything goes to you in one box.

Delivery inside India

Its FAQ lists standard delivery in 3 to 6 business days and express delivery in 1 to 2, with the options depending on the PIN code, the product and the seller. Because Tata CLiQ is a marketplace, two items in one order can come from two sellers and arrive on different days. That does not matter to you: we hold them and send them together.

Returns: check the product page first

Tata CLiQ's return policy says return timelines generally run from 0 to 7 days and points you to the Return & Refund tab on each product page for the exact terms. It lists beauty and electronics as non-returnable, along with innerwear, socks, swimwear and some other apparel. Items have to go back unused, with tags, labels and original packaging.

The parcel reaches us before it reaches you. We photograph it on arrival, so you can check the size, colour and condition while there is still time to raise a return with Tata CLiQ. Tell us before you ask us to ship.

What we can and cannot send on

• Fine: clothing, footwear, bags, fashion jewellery and most skincare and make-up.
• Not by us: perfume, nail polish and aerosols; mobile phones and laptops; power banks and loose batteries; and gold, silver or diamond jewellery, including coins and bars.
