A MyXBorder Alternative from Kerala

Storage: check the terms, not the banner

MyXBorder's home page advertises free storage of up to 30 days. Its terms and conditions say items are stored "for up to 7 days at no charge", and that after 7 days the customer pays storage fees per box per day. We could not find the daily rate on its pages. If you plan to collect orders over a few weeks, ask which figure applies before you start.

Ours is 30 days free for every parcel, counted from the day each one arrives, and it is the same in our terms as on our home page.

Where both are free

To be fair to MyXBorder: its home page lists free consolidation and free item photos, and its FAQ says it sends images on WhatsApp and email as items arrive. Sign-up is free on both. Consolidation, repacking and a photograph of every parcel are free with us too.

Buying for you

MyXBorder offers Assisted Shop N Ship, where it buys for you. Its FAQ lists "5 % (min 299 INR) admin charges on purchase" for online shopping, plus a payment gateway fee on card payments. We do not buy on your behalf. You order from the Indian shop yourself, to your own Indian address, and pay the shop directly. Other charges worth asking about

MyXBorder's FAQ lists an "additional fee of INR 1000 for address change" after booking, and says insurance is not included in its charges. Ask any forwarder for its full list of extras before you ship; ours are on the pricing page.

Where each company is

MyXBorder's footer lists a company address in Singapore and an Indian address in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and its terms are governed by Singapore law. We are in Kerala, and most of what we forward goes to Keralites abroad: kasavu and wedding silks, Malayalam books, Kerala snacks and Ayurvedic products. The Gulf is our shortest and busiest route.
