A Shop India Se Alternative from Kerala

Everything below about another company is taken from their own published pages and was last re-read on 10 October 2026. Terms change; check theirs before you decide, and tell us if anything here has gone out of date.

Their plans, as published

Shop India Se offers three tiers. Basic is free and includes an Indian address, "1 Free item Photo" with each item video at Rs. 50 extra, and "Locker Storage up to 20 Days". Gold is ₹499 for two months and raises that to 30 days with two photos and one video. Platinum is ₹4,999 for a year with unlimited photos and a 365-day storage period. Beyond the included window their page states that "After free locker storage ends, each day Rs. 80 will be charged as locker storage fee" — so that clock starts at 20 days on Basic and 30 on Gold.

What that means in practice

On the free tier you get 20 days and a limited number of photographs. Thirty days and unlimited photographs cost money. Here, 30 days of free storage per parcel and a photograph of everything that arrives are simply the service — there is no tier to pick and nothing to buy before your first shipment.

Where we are different

We are in Kerala and most of what we forward is Kerala shopping: kasavu from the silk houses, Malayalam books, ayurvedic preparations where the destination allows them, and boutique orders arranged over WhatsApp with no website involved. A general all-India forwarder handles those fine; it just does not know them.

The comparison worth actually doing

Take a real box — the weight and the dimensions — and price it in both calculators to your own country. Then add what each will charge you for storage and photographs over the time you actually need. That is the number that matters, and it is not the headline rate.
