Buy from Amazon India and ship to Canada
Toronto and Brampton have Indian retail. Calgary, Winnipeg, Halifax and most of the country do not, and Amazon.ca carries Indian goods thinly and at an importer's price. A free Indian address puts Amazon.in within reach instead.

Canada is 120V, so leave the appliances
Like the United States, Canada runs 120V against India's 230V. An Amazon.in mixer, kettle, iron or immersion heater will not run here on a plug adapter, and a step-up transformer big enough for a motor or a heating element is rarely worth the money or the counter space. Buy those locally and use Amazon.in for what Canada genuinely does not sell.
The category Canada is short of
Winter-weight traditional wear. Lined kurtas, heavier shawls, wool-blend sarees and anything you can actually wear to a function in February — Indian sites carry them because north India gets cold, and Canadian Indian retail largely does not stock them at any price. It is the most distinctive thing on this route.
