Does Mamaearth ship to Canada?

Check at your own checkout, and if it will not deliver to Canada, order to your India Rabbit address in Kerala. Mamaearth then delivers to us like any order in India, and we send it on to Toronto, Brampton, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg or anywhere else in Canada.

Why a small Mamaearth order still pays duty in Canada

Canada charges duty and GST on goods from India above just CA$20, the lowest threshold of any country we ship to. A Mamaearth basket is many small, inexpensive items, a face wash, a shampoo, an onion hair oil, a baby lotion, and almost any basket worth shipping passes CA$20. Since each shipment is cleared separately, often with a courier's brokerage fee, the cheap way is the one that feels least urgent: let your Mamaearth order wait with us, add your Nykaa, FirstCry or Amazon India orders, and ship one box. The calculator shows, service by service, whether duty for Canada is already in the price; where it is not, the courier collects it before delivery.

What we can send, and what we cannot

• Fine: face washes, serums, creams and lotions, sunscreen creams and gels, lip balms, shampoos, conditioners and hair oils, baby washes, lotions and oils.
• Cannot be forwarded: Mamaearth sells perfumes, body mists, including body mists for babies and children, and deodorants. We cannot send any of them, because airlines treat perfume and sprays as flammable. Nail polish and aerosols are out for the same reason.

Leave those out of the basket before you check out, so you are not paying for things that cannot leave India.

Liquids are heavy

Shampoo, body wash and hair oil are dense: a litre is about a kilogram before packing. Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so a box of large bottles costs more to fly than a box of creams and tubes. Buy the sizes you will use, and let us repack everything into one carton.

Ordering for winter and for Diwali

Ordered in September or early October, a Mamaearth box joins the festive shopping on its way to Canada for Diwali, and the lotions and lip balms arrive as the dry cold starts. Transit is typically 4 to 14 business days after the box leaves India.

How it works

2. Pay online: cash on delivery cannot be accepted at our warehouse.
3. We open and photograph what is inside, and hold it free for 30 days.
4. Ask us to ship, and we repack everything into one box.
