The winter problem, which is real and easily avoided

A box crossing Canada between November and March spends hours in unheated cargo holds and trucks at temperatures well below freezing. Water-based products — gels, serums, essences, light lotions — can freeze, and many do not come back the same: emulsions separate, textures go grainy, and a product that is perfectly safe is no longer usable. Anhydrous products are unaffected: oils, balms, powders, compacts, lipsticks, dry preparations.

The practical answer is timing, not packaging. If your order is mostly water-based skincare, ship it between April and October. If you want it in winter, weight the basket toward oils, balms and powders and keep the serums for a spring box. We will flag it if a winter shipment looks wrong, but the choice is easier made at checkout.

Which is a shame, because the cold is the reason to buy

Canadian winter air strips skin in a way the Indian market has been formulating richly for since long before it was a trend — heavy oils, kumkumadi, ubtan, thick creams and hair oils that a Canadian drugstore stocks thin, expensive versions of if at all. This is a genuinely good match of catalogue to climate. It just wants to arrive in the right month.
