What can and cannot go in a Nykaa box
Perfume, nail polish and remover, aerosols and sprays cannot be shipped by air to any country. Creams, serums, face washes, hair oils, shampoos, sheet masks, powders and make-up are fine, liquids included. Keep the restricted items out of your basket rather than having them removed at packing.
Herbal products and New Zealand biosecurity
Factory-sealed cosmetics are routine, but herbal powders, face packs with plant material and anything containing seeds must be declared and may be inspected. Tell us what each item is when you request shipping.
Indian appliances work in New Zealand
New Zealand runs on 230V with Australian-style sockets, close to India's 230V, so Indian kitchen appliances work with a plug adapter.
Duty and tax
Up to NZ$1,000, Customs collects no duty and overseas sellers may charge 15% GST at checkout; since 1 April 2026 a small levy applies per parcel. Above NZ$1,000, Customs collects duty, GST and an entry charge. Biosecurity is as strict as Australia: wood, cane, seeds, honey and plant material are inspected.
If your foreign card is declined at checkout, read how to pay on Indian shopping sites from abroad or message us on WhatsApp before you order.
